[Seamless Integration with Matter Platform and Compatibility Across Ecosystems] The Aqara Smart Lock U200 seamlessly integrates with the robust Matter platform, enabling compatibility with a wide range of smart home ecosystems, including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Aqara Home. The Aqara Hub M3 allows you to unlock remotely and set up automations with other devices within the Aqara Home app. However, the U200 is currently only compatible with the Aqara M3 hub and not with other Aqara Zigbee hubs. [Versatile Unlocking Options and Remote Access] The U200 offers a variety of convenient unlocking methods, such as Apple Home Keys (with the required Apple 2-in-1 Matter controller and Border Router), fingerprint, password, and NFC (not included). You can also control the door lock using the app, either via integrated Bluetooth or through Thread for remote access. Additionally, the lock supports temporary passwords, including one-time and periodic passwords, for easy sharing with others. It also accommodates mechanical keys for emergency situations.

[Quiet Unlock Mode and Automatic Lock] The U200 features a Quiet Unlock Mode, enabling you to unlock the door slowly and reduce noise levels. This standalone setting can be activated directly from the keypad, without requiring a hub or a Thread border router. Furthermore, the built-in gyroscope allows the U200 to remind you if the door is left open and even automatically lock it after closure. However, this feature can only be used in the Aqara Home app, and ensure that the app's firmware is updated to the latest version.

[Rechargeable Battery and Multi-Power Options] The U200's lock is powered by rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, providing up to 6 months of battery life (based on up to 8 daily unlocking and locking actions via fingerprint/NFC). The keypad also accommodates 1.5V AAA batteries and offers hard-wired powering capabilities, although AAA batteries are not rechargeable, and a hardwired setup requires a 12V-24V AC or DC power supply. The lock operates flawlessly in extreme temperatures ranging from -15 °C to 66 °C and is IPX5-rated for outdoor usage.
