The August Wi-Fi Smart Lock (4th Generation) and its accompanying app allow you to remotely lock or unlock your door, check the door's status, grant virtual guest keys, and stay informed about who is coming and going. This smart lock, which is connected out of the box with built-in Wi-Fi, is easy to install and attaches to your existing deadbolt, allowing you to keep your original keys.

Upgrading your existing deadbolt is easy with the August smart lock, as it fits on the inside of your door, making your regular deadbolt smarter, more secure, and more convenient. You can keep your keys, but you won't need them.

The built-in Wi-Fi allows your lock to integrate seamlessly with your smart home, working with popular voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit, Samsung SmartThings, and more.
